What batch mode is
Batch mode turns the workbench into a proofing engine: paste up to 20 prompt lines — one direction per line — and each line renders 1 or 4 independent variants. Maximum 80 result slots per batch, laid out on a fixed contact sheet that never reorders.
Writing batch lines
Keep every line identical except the one variable you are testing — that is what makes the grid comparable. Empty lines are ignored; a line needs at least a couple of characters to count.
- Background test: change only the backdrop words line by line.
- Lighting test: fix the scene, rotate light descriptions.
- Copy your winning line into the next batch as the control.
Cost and billing
The reserve equals prompts × outputs × resolution cost (1/3/8 credits per image for 1K/2K/4K), shown live on the submit button. Only successful, downloadable outputs are charged; failed slots release their reserve and can be retried individually.
Reading the contact sheet
Judge at thumbnail distance first; open full size only for finalists. Every slot keeps its VD-NNN/MM id, so you can reference “VD-024/03” in a review thread and everyone opens the same image.
