Two tracks, one balance sheet
Nano Banana sells generation two ways. Subscriptions give a large monthly credit allowance at the lowest per-credit price, but the credits expire with each monthly cycle. Credit packs cost more per credit but never expire. Both feed the same ledger, and spending always burns soonest-expiring (subscription) credits first.
The subscription tiers
Three monthly tiers, all including the 4K unlock:
- Starter — $9.90/mo, 3,300 credits/month.
- Pro — $19.90/mo, 8,000 credits/month (most popular).
- Premium — $49.90/mo, 25,000 credits/month.
The credit packs
Three one-time packs, permanent until spent:
- $12.90 → 3,900 credits.
- $29.90 → 9,600 credits.
- $69.90 → 23,000 credits.
How to choose
If you generate every week and can use a monthly allowance, subscriptions win on unit price — and they are the only way to unlock 4K. If your usage is spiky (a launch this month, nothing the next), packs win because nothing expires. Many accounts run both: a subscription for the baseline and 4K, a pack as the overflow buffer that never goes stale.
